1 Seat
Last year Beloved took me on a new walk and we came across this seat. At the time
2 ladies were there and one was explaining that the seat was dedicated to her husband.
As she left she kissed her hand and patted the seat saying 'Goodbye'.
The other day we returned so I could take a picture of this seat and we had it all to ourselves.
We sat there in the sunshine, admiring the view whilst eating a Magnum ice cream!
2 View from above seat
I had hoped I'd be able to join these seamlessly but I could not manage this; see below!
Later I remembered I have a setting on my new camera that would have done this for me....
The view is of Slipper Hill Reservoir.
A few days later we returned to the seat (with Magnum ice creams!) and I took a panoramic photo.
Much better!
3 Lunch
I had some old potatoes, a bit soft but Beloved suggested I make them into LUNCH for the birds.
First microwave the potatoes.
Second chop them up and put them out into the garden and wait.
Third a jackdaw comes to sample the feast.
Fourth a pair of blackbirds have a real feast.
Later I saw a rabbit eat some.
4 Starts with P - PYROMANIACS
We own some fields nearby and like to have bonfires, old wood, personal papers etc etc.
Mostly we have a small bonfire in an old oil drum; on the right you can see Beloved adding
one of my old wellies to the inferno!
5 Transport

Beloved was using the digger to fill the red trailer with ¾ down stone which he then took to
a friend's house as he was about to lay a new concrete floor in the kitchen.
Later I asked if I could drive the digger back to the shed but I left it to Beloved to drive it
into the shed!
6 Own Choice
Look at the newest visitors to our garden! Mandarin ducks by the way.
What a pretty boy he is. They have visited several times recently.
The first time I saw them was when I spotted 2 unusual birds
land in the trees at the bottom of the garden and next news
they flew down into the garden. They are a perching duck...

The following day Beloved was telling his sister (who is a keen bird watcher)
about them but could not remember their name so he called them
Marzipan Ducks!!! So now that is what we call them.
Well that's my offerings for this month. Thanks again to Hawthorn for hosting the photo hunt. Click here to return to her blog to see what other people have prepared.
