Just a tiny view showing a bit of the woodland area and the water
that flows through it. It was all weeds when we moved here

Had to wait 2 years since we last had ducklings at our kitchen door. Mother duck
regularly comes for wheat.
Phew, made it. Bye!
Well done if you've been so busy, they are a great set of photos. Love your woodland glade and the duck & ducklings are ever so cute. No quilt!!!!! Just joking. Thanks for sharing, take care, stay safe & huggles.
ReplyDeleteThere might be a quilt to show next month! Can't believe how crazy my retirement life style is!
DeleteWowsers! That was a flying visit!! Lovely bee fly, we've had quite a few this year which I'm pleased about, thank you for joining in xx
ReplyDeleteGlad I could join in; Keighley is very demanding...... you know what I mean!
DeleteA good set of photos but my favourite just has to be the mother duck and ducklings, they look so cute :)
ReplyDeleteI suspect the duck and ducklings will be a popular photo. It is mine favourite and we feel so lucky she feels confident to bring the little ones to see us.
DeleteLove your wooded patch and stream. Funny you should choose a picture of a duck and ducklings as I've included one too (but I think yours is better).
ReplyDeleteThanks! I've yet to look at your pictures but that will be my next activity.
DeleteThe stream looks so luscious - but I don't recognise the bigger birds? what are they? And of course the ducklings are so cute ... beautiful :)
ReplyDeleteBig birds are Great Spotted Woodpeckers; sorry for not saying what they were! Thanks for the vote for the cute ducklings.
DeleteFor almost not joining in, I'm glad you were able to include your lovely photos! The ducklings are adorable.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad I did take part, now I'll not feel guilty looking at all the other contributors' photos. Yes, another vote for the ducklings!
DeleteThank you for sharing the lovely photos. I love the one of your garden and the ducklings are very cute too. I think my favourite is the one with the woodpeckers - we get them too on our bird feeder. Take care.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comments. I think the ducklings are just a beak ahead over the woodpeckers for being my favourites! I've tried to take photos of my whole garden but have failed but then again I'm only a point and shoot photographer.
DeleteFabulous photographs loving the picture of the duck with her chicks and the goldfinches 🙂
ReplyDeleteI suspect I might try to include another duckling photo next month! Thanks.
DeleteI'm glad you posted your unique photos especially the ducklings!
ReplyDeleteHappy you liked my photos, especially the ducklings.
DeleteOh yes, I hear you on the busyness! Me too! But Ive managed to finally get my scavenger hunt post up and am popping in to see yours! I have garden envy ;o) you have a delightful woodland area!
ReplyDeleteThanks! It's only a small area but it is one of my favourite places in my garden. I can be in it and no-one can see me but I can see them!! I've already made a start on the July photo hunt as I know I'll be busy next month too!
DeleteExcuse late comments, had PC trouble. It went off at the same time as a flash of lightening. So had to call in youngest grandson to help. Lovely pictures. Like most of the others I love your ducklings but do appreciate your woodland area as I remember it being bare with a few weeds. Amazing what a bit of love and attention and the passing of time can do to a garden. xx
